Chrysler and Local Dealership Settle Lemon Law Lawsuit
The Vachon Law Firm announces the successful resolution of the lawsuit Khalsa v. Chrysler Group, LLC, et. al. (San Diego County Superior Court Case No. 37-2011-00076511). This case arose of the plaintiff’s purchase of used 2009 Dodge Challenger. The plaintiff, a San Diego, California consumer, alleged that the Dodge Challenger had defect that caused the tire warning light to repeatedly illuminate. The complaint included a lemon law cause of action (asserted under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act) against Chrysler Group, LLC.
The lawsuit was resolved pursuant to a settlement agreement in which no party admitted liability, but which required Chrysler to make a mutually acceptable cash payment to the plaintiff.
