Mercedes-Benz Innovates, Designs Vehicles With Smaller Engines
According to a series of news agencies, Mercedes-Benz will be downsizing the company’s engines for two models.
Turbocharged inline-fours will be replacing all six-cylinder engines in the E-class models and in the M-class SUV. According to experts, this move shows the automaker has chosen to take its diesel strategy to a different place altogether. It differs from Audi’s attitude toward its diesel engines. Specialists reported that Mercedes-Benz will be offering vehicle with diesel fours even in large vehicles while Audi will be offering several vehicles with diesel six.
