Mercedes-Benz has been working on several groundbreaking technology advancements, according to several news reports.

One of the most celebrated technologies the automaker is introducing to the market include the Cross-Traffic Assist, the Night View Assist, DISTRONIC PLUS, PRE-SAFE PLUS, BAS PLUS and the ATTENTION ASSIST, which are all technologies that would analyze hazardous and complex situations and help the driver by warning of potential dangers the driver may have missed.

The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class will have sensors that will watch the road and the surroundings for potential risks that could not be detected before.

This technology could also help once vehicles are equipped with car-to-car communication technologies.
