Multiple news agencies have revealed that the 2011 G55 and G550 models of vehicles are being recalled by Mercedes Benz.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that the vehicles are being recalled due to the molding strip in the airbag of these vehicles. According to the report, they can become loose unexpected, which would lead to the unexpected deployment of the airbag.

The result could be serious injury even possible death. The German dealer will be getting in contact with all those who own these models of vehicle and will also be instructing them where to go to get the airbag fixed.

The dealer will fix the issue for free.
