Mercedes-Benz Recalls Vehicles Over Defective Side Airbags
An improper stitching could be responsible for an incorrect deployment of certain curtain airbags in multiple Mercedes-Benz vehicles, reports show.
According to the news, all units of the 2012 E350 and E550 Coupe vehicles are being recalled because the window curtain air bags could deploy too quickly, which could compromise the device’s effectiveness and lead to an injury.
To resolve this issue and keep drivers and occupants from being injured in an accident, the automaker has decided to issue this recall at once with the help of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The federal agency has urged consumers with the recalled vehicle to contact the manufacturer at once.
