MobilityWorks has recently issued a recall for certain vehicles over a possible injury hazard.

According to the reports, the 2006 through 2010 models of Ford E-Series vehicles were equipped with wheelchair accessibility lifts that may be defective. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the lifespan on the rollstop of these lifts is proving to be too short and they may become highly frequently misaligned.

The result could be serious injury due to the wheel chair not being secured within the vehicle or while the lift is being raised.
