More units of Mercedes-Benz vehicles are being recalled over a possible injury risk, reports have indicated.
The models 2012 E350 and E550 of coupe vehicles were furnished with a type of curtain airbag system that may have been stitched incorrectly, which would eventually lead to an early deployment of the airbag system, compromising the protection factor of these devices.
If airbags deploy before they are intended to, occupants could become injured in the event of an accident.
Mercedes-Benz decided to issue this recall at once as soon as it was discovered that the airbags in these vehicles many not function properly.
Car owners with these vehicles must prevent injuries and keep their loved ones safe by contacting the manufacturer at once.
