Multiple news agencies reported that Kawasaki Motors Corp., USA, has recently issued a recall for Concours 14 motorcycles.
The recalled models range from the 2008 to the 2012 makes. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall was deemed necessary because of a gap that has been found between the brake pedal and the guide certain models ZG1400 A/B/C and D were equipped with.
The federal agency stated that debris can get into the gap, creating a possible brake drag and leading to an overheated rear brake.
A similar problem has also been found in the front brakes of the ZG1400C model. Owners will be notified by the company and the problem fixed free of charge.
