Motorcycles Recalled By Triumph, NHTSA Reports

Multiple news agencies have indicated that Triumph Motorcycles are recalling several units of certain models over a possible issue with the wheel bearings in these vehicles. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2012 Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm and the 2011 and 2012 Daytona 675 and Street Triple models were equipped with bearings that could fail due to the product’s unknown quality.

Due to a potential poor quality material, the bearings may fail and increase the risk of an accident. The firm has stated that these vehicles will have all wheel bearings replaced for free to prevent a motorcycle crash.

According to the news agencies covering this recall, the manufacturer is contacting motorcycle owners who are affected by this recall. If you have been affected by this recall, contact Triumph and have this issue promptly eradicated. Prevent accidents and keep your loved ones safe by making sure you respond to any recall announcement that concerns products you own.
