New Volvo S60 Safety Technology Unveiled

Multiple reports show that the new Volvo S60 model offers new safety features that are poised to impress the most skeptical of consumers.

The new vehicle offers Volvo’s standard  safety technology that includes the front-seat side airbags, anti-lock disc brakes, Dynamic Stability and Traction Control system and side-curtain bags on top of the automaker’s new technology, the City Safety feature, which acts as a support system to drivers of the new S60 model.

The technology will help drivers to avoid collisions that could happen while the vehicle is traveling at low speeds. The new features will apply the brakes if the vehicle continues to travel into the path of an obstacle.

Some specialists believe this is one of the most exciting new auto safety technologies. The new model of Volvo vehicles has been designed with safety in mind and because of that, this could be one of the safest vehicles available on the market today.

Although the new Lexus LS also offers drivers a safety technology that could be compared to Volvo’s new City Safety system, Lexus LS is available for $72,000, while the new Volvo S60 will be available for $44,000.

Auto safety technology is important and automakers are designing increasingly safer vehicles. Before you choose to purchase a model, do your research and take into consideration the new safety technologies present in newer models.
