Certain 2008 and 2009 models of Grand Star motorhomes (Class A) are being recalled, according to the news.

These vehicles were built on FCCC chassis and are now being recalled by Newmar Corporation. It turns out that the Bosch hydraulic brakes that these motorhomes were outfitted with might, after extended disuse, undergo diametrical brake piston growth, which would reduce performance considerably and might even cause a crash.

There are about 70 units of motorhomes affected by this issue, and owners should contact Daimler Trucks/FCCC under recall number FL-628, and FCCC dealers will perform repairs free of charge.
