According to several news agencies and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, more motorhomes are being recalled over a potential crash risk.

Multiple news agencies have indicated that Newmar Corporation has issued a recall announcement concerning all units of the 2013 Bay Star Sport, Ventana and Ventana LE, and all units of the 2013 and 2014 Bay Star, Dutch Star, and Canyon Star vehicles because the awning installation sequence in these vehicles were not followed completely during assembly.

This problem could pose a serious risk because the awning motor could become damaged. The company has reported it will be notifying all affected owners promptly in order to schedule a visit to a local dealership. The vehicles should be fully repaired for free.
