NHTSA And Porsche Recall 2010 911 GT3 Vehicles

According to several news agencies, Porsche has issued a recall for all units of the 2010 911 GT3 model over a possible issue with the rear wheel hubs in these vehicles.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that the vehicles manufactured by Porsche between May 15, 2009 and February 11, 2010 could experience a wheel hub failure due to the fact that the rear wheel hubs in these vehicles could be prone to defects since the suggested maintenance intervals may not be sufficient to maintain the components fully functional.

To prevent crashes, the company is contacting all affected owners to alert them of the risk and have affected vehicle owners scheduling a visit to an authorized dealership to have the item properly repaired.
