NHTSA Investigates Dodge Viper Over Potential Suspension Issue
Multiple news agencies have indicated that several Dodge Viper vehicles could be subject to a recall due to an issue associated with the vehicle’s rear suspension connectors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration decided to investigate this issue that could affect all units of the 2005 and 2006 Vipers. The investigation was deemed necessary after it was reported that the federal agency received two incident complaints associated with issues linked to the vehicle’s suspension connector breaking unexpectedly while the vehicle was in use.
According to the agency, the company is cooperating. If an issue with the vehicle’s rear suspension is identified, the company should be issuing a recall announcement soon.
