NHTSA, Triumph Recall Motorcycles Over Incorrect Labels
Multiple news agencies have indicated that certain motorcycles are being recalled over a possible accident risk.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the 2012 and 2013 Explorer and Explorer XC motorcycles are being recalled because they come with labels that do not offer precise and accurate details on the vehicle’s “Gross Vehicle Weight Rating”, which could cause the motorcycle owner to overload the bike.
If a motorcycle is handles while overloaded, the rider may be involved in an accident since the motorcycle’s tire may experience a failure while the vehicle is in use. To prevent any accidents if you own one of the recalled vehicles, follow this link to read the full report.
