According to several reports, an event was held as a result of the collaboration between the nonprofit organizations Singing River Health System and the Gulf Coast Child Passenger Safety Coalition to demonstrate the proper installation of child safety seats at Walmart in Pascagoula.

According to the news, safety seat technicians checked 55 seats during the event and replaced 28 of them that were not fitted properly for children’s height and weight. Child safety seats are very rarely used correctly, and all the seats inspected had to be adjusted in one way or another.
