Parents Still Install Car Safety Seats Incorrectly

Parents are still incorrectly installing car safety seats in their vehicles, reports show.

According to the news, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has been inspecting newer models of both booster seat and infant car safety seat. Reports show that newer models are being produced with higher safety and reliability standards than before, which could lead to a drop in the fatality and injury ratings associated with children involved in car accidents.

In spite of the fact most car safety seats are safer than before, 73 percent of caregivers and parents are still unaware of how to safely install car safety seats.

At this moment, safety advocates have been urging consumers to beware of the risk and learn more about how to safely install the devices.
