Porsche Recalls All Units Of Its 2011 And 2012 Cayenne Vehicles

The car manufacturer Porsche has recently issued a recall for exactly three of its 2011 and 2012 models.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the recall statement officially published by the federal agency and the carmaker, the recall was deemed necessary after the company discovered some defects in the turbo charger of these models.

A reported manufacturing defect was found in the turbine wheel on the turbo charger, which may crack causing a decrease in performance and a possible fire risk. Porsche is contacting owners and dealers for replacements free of charge.
