Prius Owners Complain About Windshield Issue

Several news agencies have recently reported that multiple Toyota Prius vehicles have been mentioned in claims reported by consumers concerning certain issues with the vehicle’s windshields.

According to the media outlets covering this story, these claims indicate that some of these vehicles were equipped with certain windshields that could distort oncoming lights and make visibility somewhat difficult for some.

Reports show that some of the claims indicate that drivers have been avoiding driving at night because of how distorted lights may be due to their Prius windshields.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that it has received a dozen of complaints concerning the windshields but that no sufficient reasons were found to push for a recall or order the company to have the issue promptly solved.

As an attorney, I understand the concern and hope that Toyota is addressing these potential issues with the Prius windshields. Consumers are also urging the company to check new Prius models for the potentially defective components before allowing these vehicles to be sold to other drivers.

If you have had to deal with a lemon in the past, you know that you should always do an extensive research on the vehicles you are interested in purchasing before actually purchasing them.
