Problem with Side Curtain Air Bags Prompts Recall of CODA Cars

According to multiple news agencies, CODA Automotive has issued a recall for all units of the 2012 CODA vehicles after it was noted that the side curtain air bags in these vehicles could not deploy as they were designed to deploy.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration decided to issue the recall announcement in order to ensure that the affected vehicles are properly repaired before anyone becomes injured as a result of an air bag failure in the event of a crash.

According to the agency, the problem may stem from a failure to properly roll the air bags during the device’s production. Affected consumers are being notified of this recall and should soon schedule a visit to a dealer to have the vehicle repaired. Follow this link to read the full recall announcement.
