Rental Car Companies Decide To Not Rent Or Resell Recalled Vehicles

The four largest and most active rental vehicle companies in the country have agreed to not use recalled vehicles by keeping customers from being able to rent vehicles that have been recalled for defective parts in the past.

These companies include Enterprise, Avis, Dollar Thrifty and Hertz. All companies we have mentioned will support legislation that will make the policy a law. The bill, according to recent articles, would require that the renting of recalled vehicles must cease within 24 hours of receiving a safety recall notice.
