RV Manufacturer Recalls Several Models Of Vehicles Over Crash Hazard

A series of news sources have been reporting that Fleetwood RV, Inc. has issued a recall for units of several 2013 and 2014 models of recreational vehicles.

The reports show these vehicles were equipped with certain components that could cause the motor to fail, increasing the risk of an accident. According to the news, the multiple models of RVs being recalled come with Weatherpro and 9100 series power awnings that may have been assembled with screws that could shear unknowingly. This issue could increase the risk of an accident since the awning could unfurl as a result of the component failure. To prevent a potential accident, the company has stated that Dometic will be replacing all affected motors with fully functional ones for free.
