Toyota San Diego Agrees to Compensate Local Student
The Vachon Law Firm announces the successful resolution of the lawsuit Saengsouriyo v. Conant Auto Retail San Diego, Inc. (San Diego Superior Court Case No. 37-2010-00100762). The plaintiff, a student who resides in San Diego, California, was represented by the Vachon Law Firm. The defendant Conant Auto Retail San Diego, Inc. does business as a car dealership under the fictitious business name Toyota San Diego. The plaintiff’s complaint alleged that Toyota San Diego unlawfully repossessed his new vehicle without cause.
The parties agreed to a settlement in which no party admitted liability or wrongdoing, but which required Toyota San Diego to make a mutually agreeable cash payment to the plaintiff and to cover the plaintiff’s attorney’s fees and costs.
