Reports show that Safe Kids Day is an annual event set to raise awareness and educate parents on how to keep their children safe in the car that is being sponsored by the Safe Kids of Scotts Bluff County with the help of Gering Kiwanis.

During Safe Kids Day, parents will be shown how to properly install a child safety seat in their vehicles as well as learn about the dangers of using improper child and baby seat models. Technicians will also be stressing the importance of proper installation of car safety seats.
