An event to help families to stay safe during earthquakes and teach parents how to safely install car safety seats will be held this Saturday.

According to several news sources, the authorities in Beaumont will be organizing an event that is completely free and open to all families in the region. Car safety seats will be checked for safety and effectiveness while officials will teach parents tips on how to safety safe in the event of an earthquake.

Parents will be able to take a free shuttle from the Walmart bus stop to the location of the event.
