According to recent articles, drivers are being urged to keep in mind that there are five simple maintenance steps that could help them to stay safe during the winter season. They are: air pressure in the tires, wiper blade quality, headlight functionality and condition of hoses, belts and freeze protection.
Reports show that the Junior College Automotive Program will be holding a free car checkup to drivers in the region Saturday, which will provide the inspections that will help to determine whether car owners are required to have issues repaired or if their vehicles are in top condition.
The organization hopes to give back to the community by helping drivers to learn more about basic maintenance.
