Smartphones Could Help Drivers To Detect Vulnerable Pedestrians

Multiple articles have confirmed that car manufacturers have worked for many years to increase the safety features of their newer models and protect passengers and drivers inside their vehicles from being injured as a result of auto crashes.

According to the news, new technology is being used not only to protect drivers but also those outside the vehicle. New technologies and devices are being developed to assist drivers in detecting vulnerable pedestrians, construction workers, bicyclists and other motorized vehicles.

Velvo and other manufactures that have been developing these new systems hope to prevent thousands of accidents every year by implementing these new technologies.
