Spartan Recalls Vehicle Chassis Models Over Potential Steering Loss

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has indicated that Spartan Motors Cassis issued a recall for various vehicles over a potential risk of cracks that could cause the steering gear mounting brackets to become detached.

The federal agency has stated that the chassis models affected include the 2006 through 2011 K2, and K3, and models 2006 through 2010 MM chassis. The products were manufactured between July 20, 2005 and December 17, 2010.  These chassis models come with steering gear mounting brackets that could experience cracks, which could then lead to a potential loss of steering capability.

The company will be notifying affected consumers in the near future. You can follow this link to read the full article to learn more about the recall and make sure that your vehicle is fully repaired.
