A free car check for seniors is held annually, according to the news. Students from the automotive classes at Lincoln-Way North High School will be checking vehicles owned by senior citizens for car fluids, headlights, undercarriage and tires to prevent further issues that could eventually lead to accidents.

This event that is carried out annually is organized by the community with the help of the local and county police. Home Instead, a senior care provider will also participate in this year’s event to talk to seniors and teach safety tips that could also help them to be safer while behind the wheel.
