Subaru Joins Nonprofit To Research Pet & Auto Safety

Since concerns linked to pets and auto safety have been raised by several nonprofits, automakers and other companies decided to address the issue by developing technologies that would help drivers to keep their pets safe while riding along.

According to several news agencies, drivers willing to purchase a vehicle equipped with features that would make the ride safer to man’s best friend may soon be able to. Subaru has reported that the company will be teaming up with the Center for Pet Safety in order to develop researches and tests that would help them to develop features that would keep pets safe in the backseat.

The company hopes to develop safety features for all two and four-legged passengers.
