According to a series of news agencies, Subaru has announced the price for its latest compact SUV, the 2013 XV Crosstrek. According to the automaker, the new vehicle will have a base price of $21,995.
This, according to experts, puts the new XV Crosstrek at $1,000 more than a 2013 Mazda CX-5, but $475 less than the new 2013 Ford Escape. Experts believe that it’s important potential buyers will compare the new Crosstrek’s pricing to similar new vehicles before deciding to purchase the new model.
Standard features include all-wheel drive, 148-horsepower 4-cylinder engine, and 5-speed manual transmission, with a mileage of 23/30 city/highway, which will reach 25/33 for CVT transmission systems, according to Subaru.
