The Best In Class Car Values For 2013 Vehicles

Multiple news agencies have reported that a listing with the best vehicle values for twelve categories has been put together by the Kiplinger’s Best in Class team.

The top models in each category have been selected over safety and reliability. The models in this list have a track record that is at least one-year-long or that are at least equipped with powertrains that are substantially similar to its predecessors.

All models except for one have also earned Top Safety Pick designations from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Under the category of cars under $20,000, the Ford Focus model has made the top of the list. This vehicle goes the distance with its 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine capable of putting out 160 horses of power. This vehicle is also a safe bet due to its standard six-airbag feature. Consumers willing to pay extra will be able to have an added technology that will make it possible for drivers to use Ford’s hands-free media system.

In the category of cars that cost anywhere between $20,000 and $25,000, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI has nabbed the first place. With its roomy interior and plenty of cargo space, this is a compact sedan that will surely not feel like a small car. This vehicle gets great gas mileage and is also able to produce 236 pond-feet of torque.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid made the top of the list of the category of cars that cost between $25,000 and $30,000. According to the reports, unlike many hybrids, this vehicle’s backseat can be folded down, which makes it roomier and more versatile. This vehicle is also equipped with ten airbags, which also includes the device for the rear passengers.

The Lexus ES has made the top of the list among models that cost between $30,000 and $40,000. This model is a sporty vehicle that has been redesigned to offer drivers better steering and better fuel economy. For vehicles that are a bit more expensive and fall under the $40,000 -$50,000 category, the Audi A6 has been picked as the top choice. This model comes with generous features and sunroof. Adaptive cruise control and heated seats will make the ride much more pleasant. This vehicle is also one of the most fuel-efficient of its category that is not a hybrid.

Other models also picked by experts include the Mercedes Benz E-Class, Chevrolet Camaro, Subaru Outback, Toyota Sienna, Honda CR-V, Lexus RX and the Toyota Sequoia.
