The Ford Focus BEV can also be a great model for people looking for a way to save at the pump. This model also runs only on electricity and its fuel range may reach 105 MPGe. Initially, this model will cost about $39,200 to the consumer. Although the Ford Focus EV is a heavy vehicle, especially if compared to other all-electric models, it runs smoothly and it offers a strong performance without overworking the engine.

This model comes with a clear and informative infotainment display that also helps the driver when it comes to maximizing efficiency.

The Nissan Leaf, priced at 57,400 and the Toyota Prius Plug-in priced at $32,000 have also made the list. According to experts, the Leaf model gets 95 MPGe and it costs $650 to fuel annually while the Prius may cost about $850 yearly to fuel while also getting 95 MPGe. The Tesla Model S, which is the most costly of all vehicles mentioned in this list of cheapest cars to fuel. This model offers 95 MPGe to the driver worried about fuel efficiency.
