Toyota FCHV-adv And Prius Vehicles Recalled
According to a recent article and multiple reports issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Toyota has decided to issue a recall announcement regarding multiple Prius and FCHV-adv models.
The reports show that the 2004 through 2009 models of these vehicles come with water pumps that could fail due to the presence of coil wires that could eventually corrode due to a scratch. If the corrosion occurs, the component could fail and the system may experience a stall-like state.
To prevent the issue and keep the vehicle from being involved in an accident, the federal agency is asking affected car owners to contact the manufacturer.
