Toyota has been developing two new safety systems that will be available in newer models.

The collision avoidance technology and acceleration limiter system were developed to keep driver error out of the equation in certain situations. According to a recent research, most auto accidents are caused by drivers who accidentally select the incorrect gear or hit the wrong pedal. By ruling out any driver error with the help of the technology, future Toyota vehicles may be somewhat safer than others.

The automaker hopes to make its vehicles technologically advanced by developing systems that will keep drivers, passengers and pedestrians safe.
