Toyota Prototype Created To Test Safety Technology
According to several news agencies, Lexus has focused on developing several vehicle gadgets that were designed to make the vehicles safer for drivers and occupants.
During the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Toyota’s Lexus unveiled its advanced active safety research vehicle, which is a project based on the company’s 2013 LS sedan. The vehicle promises to use radars and a camera with a 360-degree view, accelerometers and other gadgets that would allow the system a full view and sense of what is happening around the vehicle at all times.
The features could eventually be added to the autonomous car technology, however, the company states that this vehicle is just being used for research purposes.
