Toyota Recalls RAV4 Models Over Wheel Alignment Issues

Several news agencies have reported that Toyota issued a recall for over 700,000 units of the 2006 through 2011 models of RAV4 vehicles over a possible wheel alignment issue that could lead to an accident.

These vehicles were equipped with nuts designed to adjust the rear wheel alignment that may have not been tightened to its full capacity, which could cause the rear suspension arm to be damaged. If this occurs over time, the tire rod may cause the vehicle to experience a traumatic shift in it’s alignment, which could lead to a crash.
