According to several news agencies, Texas Pride Trailers has decided to issue a recall for all units of the comapny’s 2012 DTFLB trailers.

The trailers were reportedly found to have been equipped with improperly heat-treated brake actuator pumps, which are components that could end up experiencing a premature wear if not replaced immediately. If the item corrodes or wears out quickly, an accident could occur. To prevent crashes, Texas Pride has begun notifying owners and the actuators will be replaced at no cost. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has urged consumers to contact Texas Pride Trailers for more information.
