Trucks Being Recalled By Autocar Over Fire Risks
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that Autocar, LLC has issued a recall for several vehicles that were known to be potentially defective.
According to the reports, these vehicles come with certain air brake chambers that could fail and increase the risk of a fire since the brakes could drag as a result of the problem. The federal agency has indicated that the brake component could experience a pressure leak, leading to a potential brake component drag, increasing the risk of an overheating problem.
According to the company, the brakes could overheat to the extent that a fire could ensue, posing a risk to drivers.
