Volvo Unveils 2014 S60 And XC60 During NY Auto Show
According to several news agencies, Volvo has recently showcased its 2014 S60 and XC60 models during the New York Auto Show.
Volvo’s history is filled with sporty vehicles that go back to the rally cars produced by the company in the 1950s and 1960s. Experts say that now, the brand is revisiting the genre by redesigning its R-Design models. The new S60 and XC60 are part of this rediscovered sporty design Volvo has decided to bring back.
The reports show that the new models are equipped with engines that that get 300 to 325 horsepower. Digital instruments in both vehicles have been updated and redesigned as well as the vehicle’s overall look.
Both cars come with a six-speed automatic transmission and a chassis that has been lowered 0.6 inch, improving the vehicle’s overall cornering performance.
