Specialists have pointed out that some drivers may be missing out on some important auto insurance discounts.
According to a recent article, parents of teens who are headed to Colleges that are more than 100 miles away from home are eligible to receive a discount on their auto insurance premiums. Experts say that teen drivers who are good students are also eligible for a discount with certain auto insurance companies. According to the reports, this is known as a student discount and is given to students who maintain a 3.0 GPA grade.
Drivers who are defensive also get discounts. Specialists say that if you take a defensive driver course, you could be eligible to receive a 10% discount on your auto insurance premiums just by attending the classes.
