Your 2013 Nissan Vehicle May Have Been Recalled

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that all units of the 2013 Pathfinder, Infiniti JX35, Sentra, LEAF and Altima are being recalled over potential injury risks.

The federal agency stated in its latest recall announcement that Nissan decided to issue this recall promptly in order to prevent injuries. The air bag systems in these vehicles could be suppressed due to an issue with the Occupant Detection System, which could increase the risk of an accident since the passenger may be exposed to serious hazards if the air bags do not deploy in an accident.

The company has reported that an official recall campaign will be carried out and that all affected car owners should be notified.

To prevent any potential risks associated with having a vehicle with air bags that fail to function when needed, follow this link to read the full recall announcement.

As an attorney, I’m glad that the company was able to launch this recall campaign promptly in order to prevent potential injuries. Consumers in California should always stay alert and on top of recall news in order to ensure their vehicles are safe. As soon as you learn of a recall announcement that is associated with a vehicle you own, contact the manufacturer as soon as possible.
