2013 Cadillac XTS Model Recalled, NHTSA Reports

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for all units of the 2013 model of Cadillac XTS over a failure to comply with certain federal standards.

According to the official release, all units of the XTS model manufactured between October 2011 and August of 2012 were equipped with rear seat head restraints that fail to comply with federal requirements, which could lead to an increase of neck injury risks.

To prevent injuries, the automaker decided to issue this recall statement at once.

Consumers with the recalled vehicles are being asked to contact the manufacturer at once.
