According to a series of news reports, Nissan Motor Co. has recently unveiled that the company has been working on an anti-collision system that allows the vehicle to redirect its course if it senses an imminent collision.

The reports show that this system was created to not only stop the vehicle before it’s too late but to also provide drivers extra safety in case the object or pedestrian is too close to being hit. The vehicle will steer itself to an area with no obstacles before stopping completely.

This new safety technology is becoming more popular as older drivers increase, reports show.
