Multiple units of 2009 through 2011 Aeromaster trucks and 2011 Reach work trucks have been recalled recently by Utilitimaster over an issue with these vehicles’ door warning system.

According to the official report issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company has decided to recall these vehicles because the doors may be not properly closed since the driver is not warned if the door is not properly latched.

The official announcement claims that this problem is a failure to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 206, which may have prompted the recall.
