We all want to keep our children safe on the roadways while they are being carried in their car safety seats in our vehicles.

A group of Molokai and Lanai police officers and medical officials went the extra mile this week to make sure that happens. Car seats were inspected this past weekend as past of the end of Child Passenger Safety Week. They held a safety seat check in the region for free and, according to the news, out of the 25 seats checked, officials say that about 95 percent of them were improperly installed.
