On Wednesday, August 22nd, the Sacramento Bee reported that the California Highway Patrol and Safe Kids came together to offer free safety checks for child car seats.
The free checks took place in Elk Grove from 9 in the morning Saturday, August 25th outside the buybuy Baby store.

Authorities were glad to see parents participating and learning more about how they could be able to keep their children safe while handling their vehicles.
