Controversial E15 Fuel Blend Could Be On Its Way

Specialists explain the many obstacles that remain en vogue for the controversial E15 fuel blend –including resistance amongst automakers themselves.

According to the news, E15 is a fuel that is produced with a blend of fifteen percent of ethanol and eighty-five percent gasoline. Reports show that the E15 is slowly making its way into everyday’s buyer’s options. Proponents of the fuel claim American motorists and car owners will save money by being able to use fuel that is cheaper that pure gas, which could, in the long run, help America to get on the right path of energy independence.

Still, the debate still looms over whether this new form of fuel will make drivers save money in the long run or not.
