Mercedes-Benz is one of the automakers that chose to have Garmin working on an integrated navigation system that will be featured in the company’s new lineup.

The automaker wants Garnin to develop new navigation software that will feature updated map data and turn-by-turn directions. Garmin could be working on a very similar system that it already has developed for Chrysler, which consists of an infotainment screen that will run on Garmin software. Mercedes-Benz already has the COMMAND setup, which could be integrated with the new software to provide the technology to Mercedes-Benz drivers.
