Honda Recalls 625,762 Vehicles Over Fire Risks
According to a recent report issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a recent recall that was issued by Honda covers 625,762 cars manufactured by the company.
A power steering hose certain vehicles were equipped with along some connectors can fail after being exposed to heat. This could cause hydraulic fluid to leak, which could then lead to a fire.
Owners of the recalled cars are now being alerted and, according to the federal agency, a new heat resistant power steering hose will be placed in these vehicles at no charge. GM has recently recalled 40,859 cars over similar issues.
